2012 ICIF PRIZE EXHIBITION
IAKOV CHERNIKHOV PRIZE EXHIBITION, Sofia, 2012
International Iakov Chernikhov Foundation had annual worldwide selections of the most promising young architects’ self-presentations, interpreted and judged by a distinguished international juror. The main concept of the selection was to envision the future of architecture through the eyes and works of the young architectural generation. In 2012 more than 130 panels were selected out of the 5 previous annual competitions to be exposed in the exhibition held in the National Museum of Foreign Arts, Sofia, curated by Georgi Stanishev, director in the ICIF. The show is initiated under the auspices of the International Academy of Architecture, and Iakov Chernikhov International Foundation. The opening was attended by the President of the International Academy of Architecture, Georgi Stoilov, President of the ICIF Andrey Chernikhov and officials from the Ministry of Culture.
