PANCHA
Conversion of of three apartments into one residence, and interior project of the spaces, along with
the landscape and garden project of the adjacent site.
A family with four kids is to reside in developed interior space in a building under construction and asked for a separate redesign of the spaces of their property, part of a larger development with about 60 apartments in total. The designers have managed to change the project and achieve a large space for the main living hall of the family, with the height of 1.5 standard apartment heights. A floor above is dedicated to a children’s playground and own living space with two bedrooms, as well as the master bedroom, wardrobe and main bathroom. A floor below with the access to the garden and the plot terrain is the master’s cabinet. All three levels are connected vertically by a metal stairs dressed with oak natural colour panels. Vertical strings are replacing the necessity of parapets. Half floor above the level of the living space is the kitchen and the dining space, all in one covered by a total ceiling between the both counterposed facades of the building, 16 m long.
The small studios have separate entrances but linked to the main living space via an internal stair. All interior spaces are unified by the white plaster walls and ceilings, with some accents in black posters, and with wooden panels and stair’s steps.
The garden is landscaped on two levels that correspond to the principal floors of the living spaces.
