PANGAIA

The complex is organized along the program brief elaborated by Sortis Consultants. The basic elements of the complex are:

• Health Care Block (Rehabilitation and Longterm Acute Care Hospital + Standalone facilities) Consisting of hospital with 96 Rooms, Medical rooms, Rehabilitation area, swimming and
  rehabilitation pools, Spa and wellness, Health bar, etc
• Hotel, for 110 rooms (keys), four stars, with restaurant and shopping area to be operated by one of the supermarket chains, which covers the elderly inhabitants basic needs but also serves the
  needs of the neighbourhood surrounding the the Pangaia Centre.
• Residential blocks A,B,C that houses residence units for approximately 500 people, with all blocks linked by a air conditioned bridge link between themselves and to the Health Care Block.

While Blocks A and B are considered to be for elderly singles and couples that are able to take care of themselves, Block C is directly linked to the Hospital in the Health Care Block, and is to offer services for permanent health care control and treatment. The blocks are composed of cell units (based on 4.2 m module), which allows a wide variations of apartment units of 1, 2, 3 even 4 units to comprise an elderly dwelling, as to cover various needs and lifestyles. The total resulting numbers of cells (guest keys) is 390. Subterrain and covered parking lots serving the three main elements of the complex are 166. All elements of the complex are linked by air conditioned bridges, (Hotel to Health Care, Health Care to Residential Blocks) thus providing the option for any customer to have access to all components of the Pangaia Centre.
