SIMEON OFFICES

Boutique office centre, Simeon str, Sofia, 2010

The building is conceived as a two-partite composition: a “pedestal”, that follows the average height of the surrounding construction ambient, and a “baloon” hanging above as a cloud with levels encapsulated in one sculptural volume and dressed by metal meshwork by Ferrari Co. Terraces are formed in the space between the mesh work outer building skin, and the inglassed frames that configure the inner facade layer of the floor spaces. The communication core of the building penetrates and links as a vertical axis both parts of the building: the lower pedestal part and the upper “dandelion”-like visually light-weight entity.
The building is to serve as a high-end boutique office space for a medium size international company.
